The Pure line is easily one of the best female lines at Goldleaf. They are one of the longest lineages maintained within the herd. The selection process for stud quality females at grading does not include reference to their lineage so the high proportion of Pure genetics amongst the herd is representative of their attributes.
Goldleaf Pure Audacity is possibly the most favoured of the line to date. She has exhibited an extreme density and fleece growth rate. Very flat staples with extreme lustre.
The line consistently produces a style of fleece that keeps them leading edge. At times their cria could be mistaken for suri as they have the length and density to give them a very shaggy appearance. Similarly, at shearing they have a lustre that is more typical of the suri breed.
