Swan Valley Show Girl and then her elite daughter, Vintage Showpiece ET were the originals of the elite Vintage line at Goldleaf. They descend from the great female, Purrumbete Reflection, one of the original Accoyo females imported to Australia.
Show Girl was originally purchased by Goldleaf as the start of a great line to use in the initial ET program. This plan has came to fruition and the line is a real example of what a pedigree full of top Australian genetics can lead to.
Vintage Showpiece won multiple championships, and a Supreme Championship with her fleece. She has kept her fineness and produces a long stapled, highly aligned, lustrous fibre. These same fleece attributes are evident in her cria at Goldleaf, with several of them being awarded Championships themselves. Her first son, Goldleaf Retro (pictured), was awarded a Championship as an Intermediate and is is a certified male with quality progeny of his own.
Goldleaf Vintage Burlesque (now co-owned with Auravale Alpacas) was awarded National Champion Junior Female in 2016. The line keeps on giving, as descendants continue to be retained within the stud herd on their own merits.
